About Salary Left
Salary Left is a free expense tracker that answers one question: how much of this month's salary is left? It is made and maintained by one person, Hassan Kazmi.
Why it exists
Many budgeting apps ask you to create an account, connect your bank, or pay a monthly subscription before they are useful. Salary Left starts from a simpler idea: enter your income, log what you spend, and see what remains. Nothing more is needed to know where your money is going.
What you can rely on
- Free to use. There is no paid plan and no hidden limit on how many expenses you log.
- No ads. The site does not show advertising.
- No account. You open it and start. There is nothing to sign up for.
- Your data stays on your device. Your salary and expenses are saved in your own browser and are never sent to a server. Read the privacy policy for the details.
- Made for everyone. It works in 50 currencies and six languages: English, Urdu, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi and French.
What it does not do
Salary Left does not connect to your bank, so you enter expenses yourself. Because your data lives on one device, use the backup button before you switch phones or clear your browser data. How it is kept running
Running a website has real costs, such as the domain name and hosting, and improving it takes time. Salary Left is funded by the maker and by voluntary support from people who find it useful. There is no pressure to give. If the app helps you, using it and sharing it with a friend is already a big help.
